Park Square is pleased to announce the placement of Julia Tran at Xaira Therapeutics, where she will lead the People and Culture function. Xaira is a high-growth biotechnology company leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to accelerate and advance drug discovery and development. The company launched in April 2024 with $1 billion in committed capital from leading investors including ARCH Venture Partners and Foresite Labs.
Julia is a seasoned people and culture executive whose experience spans the biotech and high-tech industries. Most recently, she held roles of increasing responsibility at Graphite Bio, a publicly traded next-generation gene editing company, where she ultimately served as Chief People Officer. Prior, Julia served as Co-Founder at Blue Lava, a privately held provider of cybersecurity management solutions enabling IT teams to strategize, prioritize, and budget core cybersecurity programs. There, she also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Community Officer. Earlier in her career, Julia served as Vice President, People at numerous private and public companies, including vArmour Networks, SilverTail Systems, and Amyris Biotechnologies.
She received her B.A. degree in Political Science at Boston College.
