Park Square places Dr. Susan Andrade as Principal Research Scientist in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. The Department of Population Medicine is a research and teaching collaboration between Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a Point32Health company, and Harvard Medical School.  

Dr. Andrade has been involved in numerous multi-site studies evaluating the use of prescription medications in special populations including pregnant women, children, and the elderly.  She has extensive expertise in the use of large electronic healthcare databases for pharmacoepidemiologic research and in the study of adverse drug events, medication adherence, and health services research. Her current work focuses on medication and vaccine safety during pregnancy.  

Previously, Dr. Andrade was a Professor at the UMass Chan Medical School and a Senior Research Associate at the Meyers Primary Care Institute. She received her doctorate in epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health.
