Park Square is pleased to announce the placement of Joel Hames as Vice President of Product at Paper, an educational technology company that partners with school districts to provide unlimited, 24/7 high-dosage tutoring—at no cost to students.

Hames most recently served as Vice President, Product at PowerSchool Group. Previously, he served as Vice President, Product at Schoology, which was acquired by PowerSchool. His earlier career includes positions at Kuali, Inc. (Product Leader); SunGard K‐12 (Senior Product Manager to Vice President, Product); Tamalpais Union High School District (Senior Director, Instructional Technology); Alta Loma School District (Director of Technology); and Chaffey Joint Union High School District (WAN Engineer).

Hames received a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from University of California, Irvine and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from University of Illinois at Urbana‐Champaign.
