Park Square is pleased to announce the placement of Colm O’Dushlaine as Vice President, Genomics & Data Science at 54gene. 54gene is a genomics research, services, and development company committed to improving the inclusion of African populations in global genomics research.

O’Dushlaine is a recognized leader in the field of data science, statistical genetics, and population genomics. Prior to joining 54gene, he served as a Senior Manager of Statistical Genetics within the Regeneron Genetics Center. In this capacity he led several high-profile initiatives to support Regeneron’s target discovery and early-stage drug development activities. Prior to joining the RGC in 2014, O’Dushlaine spent over five years at the Broad Institute as a Research Scientist and Computational Biologist. Earlier, he completed post-doctoral fellowships focused in bioinformatics and population genetics at Massachusetts General Hospital and Trinity College Dublin. 

O’Dushlaine received his B.S. in Biotechnology from National University of Ireland and his Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Royal College of Surgeons.
