Equity Healthcare has appointed Andreas Mang as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Equity Healthcare, Andreas was the Vice President responsible for national provider network operations at CareCentrix, a leading home health benefit management company. Previously, at BlueCross BlueShield of MA, he held a variety of roles including a leadership role identifying and implementing administrative cost savings opportunities throughout the organization and ultimately designing a new corporate business model. He also supported the creation of innovative ways to improve the quality of care in Massachusetts. This included exploring innovative pay-for-performance, privileging programs, benefit process redesign, and the implementation of programs that support wellness. In addition, he has held roles as the Manager, Strategic Financial Planning at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, and as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte Consulting in Boston. 

He has a B.S. in Healthcare Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire, and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business Administration.
