One of the more thoughtful responses to the Zuckerberg congressional testimony I've read. I am glad Phil's battery died and his original "hot take" became this more reflective analysis. His point 7 is about just that - not just spewing the heat and passion of the moment into our social media streams, but rather taking a breath (even if forced upon us by the limitations of lithium-ion energy storage) and representing the best version of ourselves on social media - not just the bitter angry angles.
We need to imagine a world where the easiest way to make money is not to rile people up. Then we need to show up, act like grown-ups, and create that world.
