Christopher Morphew named dean of Johns Hopkins School of Education. He will begin 1 August 2017.
"My parents were K-12 teachers, my sister is a K-12 teacher, and my brother-in-law is an elementary school principal," says Christopher C. Morphew, the newly appointed dean of the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. "And my wife is an advisor to university students. "When I was growing up, dinner table conversations were dominated by the news of the district," he says. "I saw what a difference my parents could make in the lives of children and a community as a result of being teachers."
