Park Square has placed Richard Leparmentier as Vice President, R&D at Bionaut Labs, a pioneering biotechnology company developing microscale robots capable of delivering therapies to precise locations in the body. Leparmentier is an accomplished robotics R&D executive who most recently served as VP, R&D at Auris Health, where he played an instrumental role in developing the company’s robotic platform, leading to Auris being acquired by Johnson & Johnson for $3.4 billion. Previously, Leparmentier was General Manager and SVP of R&D at Mako Surgical through the company’s acquisition by Stryker. Earlier in his career, he held R&D roles of increasing responsibility at ASML and GE Healthcare. Leparmentier holds an MBA from New York University, a master’s in electronics from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, and a master’s in biology and micromechanics from Ecole Polytechnique.
