Park Square is pleased to announce the placement of Yelda Kaya, M.D., J.D. as Chief Business Officer at Prellis Biologics. Prellis is a pioneering tissue engineering company that uses cutting-edge optical engineering technology to print ultra-fine biomimetic tissue scaffolds for use in organ development, tissue engineering research, and therapeutic development.

Kaya most recently served as Senior Director, Transactions at Johnson & Johnson’s California Innovation Center. In this role, she also served as the Global Lead for Innovation Partnering in Infectious Diseases, Vaccines, and Global Public Health. She worked for a total of seven years with J&J, having previously been based at the company’s Innovation Center in London. Earlier, Kaya held various roles of increasing responsibility at GlaxoSmithKline, most recently serving as Director of Transactions, Worldwide Business Development R&D. Kaya began her career as a practicing physician and corporate attorney.

Kaya received her M.D. and J.D degrees from the University of Melbourne, and her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
