Park Square is pleased to announce the placement of Craig Schulz, Ph.D. as the Head of Automation at Terray Therapeutics. Terray Therapeutics is a venture-backed biotechnology company that is pioneering an automated, closed-loop, low latency, wet lab discovery platform and powerful AI capabilities to accelerate the discovery and development of small molecule therapeutics. The company’s underlying science was discovered and developed over seven years at City of Hope Medical Center, leading to the official formation of the company in 2018. After years of research and development, the company now boasts the fastest, lowest cost, and most data-rich discovery platform in the industry.
Schulz brings a wealth of experience in designing and implementing sophisticated laboratory automation to support drug discovery. Prior to joining Terray, Schulz worked at Amgen since 2002 where he most recently served as a Principal Scientist. He joined Amgen after working as a Research Associate and Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington. Previously, he spent his early career as a chemist at MDS Panlabs and Philip Environmental.
Schulz received his B.A. from Saint Olaf College in Chemistry. He then went on to receive his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Washington.
