Park Square is delighted to announce the placement of Vanessa Taylor, Ph.D., as Head of Biology and Preclinical Development at Terray Therapeutics. Terray utilizes a novel spatially encoded screening and optimization platform (tArray) to develop treatments for historically intractable causes of human disease.

Taylor joins Terray from Rigel Pharmaceuticals, where she worked for nearly two decades in roles of increasing responsibility. She most recently served as Vice President, Biology, in which capacity she was responsible for leading the company’s research function. During her tenure at Rigel, Taylor played an instrumental role in overseeing the company’s discovery, preclinical, and translational efforts, including playing a critical role in the development of the company’s first FDA-approved product, TAVALISSE. Prior to joining Rigel in 2001, Taylor served as a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco Cancer Research Center.

Taylor received her B.Sc. in biology and biochemistry from Durham University and her Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Cambridge.
