Park Square is pleased to announce the placement of Debra Toburen as Vice President, Product at 3Scan. 3Scan is a leader in digital and computational pathology. The company leverages cutting-edge hardware, software, and automation technologies for the 3D analysis of cells, tissues, and organs to enable the next generation of medical and biotech research.

Toburen brings over two decades of product management experience from the life science industry in software, tools, and automation solutions. Prior to joining 3Scan, she led product management at Ingenuity Systems, which was acquired by QIAGEN. In her most recent role, she served as Senior Director, Product Management for QIAGEN’s bioinformatics business from 2012-2017.  Earlier, Toburen served as Senior Product Manager, Informatics at Agilent Technologies from 2009-2010. She joined the company through the acquisition of Velocity11, where she was Senior Product Manager for integrated laboratory automation solutions. From 1999-2007, she was Group Manager of Biology Products at Elsevier MDL. Toburen began her career as a Research Associate at Amgen.

Toburen received her MBA from Saint Mary's College of California and her B.S. in Microbiology from Washington State University.
